Komegashi Japanese Restaurant in Jersey City is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.

We are seeking someone who understands Japanese restaurant operations and has hands-on experience in Japanese cuisine, sushi, or a similar full-service Japanese restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily front-of-house restaurant operations

• Supervise, schedule, and train staff

• Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality

• Handle guest concerns professionally

• Coordinate closely with sushi chefs and kitchen staff

• Monitor labor, inventory, and operating costs

• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and service standards

• Help improve overall restaurant sales and operations

Requirements:

• Previous restaurant management experience required

• Japanese restaurant or sushi restaurant experience strongly preferred

• Good understanding of Japanese food and restaurant service

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to manage and train a restaurant team

• Reliable, responsible, and hands-on management style

• Must be available for a full-time schedule, including weekends as needed
