FTE: .01, Shift: Variable, Schedule: Per Diem Position Summary The Dietary Aide II is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences. Responsibilities You will perform a range of functions and duties from assembly, plating to delivery You will perform a range of cashier-related duties You will maintain records and follow procedures, regulations and organizational standards You will apply excellent customer service for all in our diverse patient population You will utilize an understanding of special dietary needs Requirements High school graduate or equivalent preferred Current Washington State Food Handlers Card within seven (7) days of hire Previous experience in institutional or restaurant food service preferred About Good Samaritan Hospital MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.24 - $30.79 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
