Join the Best in the Business! We're on the hunt for a talented Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our award-winning engineering consultancy in London! As a key player in our Operational Engineering team, you'll work on exciting projects, collaborate with the industry's top talent, and enjoy a supportive and inclusive work environment. What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the mechanical services design on large projects and take the reins on smaller ones, ensuring top-notch results and happy clients
• Deliver expert technical advice to clients, develop and produce innovative mechanical designs, and contribute to feasibility studies and technical due diligence reports
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and top-tier results
• Conduct site inspections, commissioning witnessing, and condition surveys to ensure buildings are performing at their best
• Develop and mentor junior team members, and provide guidance on design, technical, and quality standards
• Enjoy a wide range of projects, from UK-based to international, and experience the thrill of working on complex and innovative schemes

What We're Looking For:

• Top-notch technical knowledge in Mechanical Design Engineering and a solid understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design
• Experience in undertaking MEP building services surveys, peer reviewing, and delivering parallel projects with ease
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• A passion for delivering high-quality work, identifying opportunities for growth, and supporting the development of others
• Autonomy, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new challenges
• Previous consultancy experience and a strong appreciation for complementary specialisms (acoustics, fire engineering, computer modeling, etc.)
• A Chartered Engineer (or close to) with a keen eye for quality and a passion for innovative solutions
