We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage our company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting detailed financial analysis. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in these areas. The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will play a crucial role in financial decision-making, driving the company's financial strategy and planning.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general ledger.
• Manage and supervise accounting department employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership.
• Maintain and improve financial policies and procedures for the company.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments and collections.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight into the company's financial health.
• Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly financial statements, annual budgets, and audit reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
• Collaborate with the executive team to make decisions about company's financial strategy and operations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to minimize financial risk.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a focus on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
