If you would love being a part of the Montana charm and providing the highest level of guest service, ensuring no detail is too small to overlook, and being a part of creating experiences, then Yellowstone Club is looking for you.\n \n Yellowstone Club’s Health & Wellness department is currently seeking candidates for a Spa Supervisor for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment months are November - April.\n \n \n The purpose of the Spa Supervisor is to provide professional, efficient, friendly and happy service for our Members and guests of Yellowstone Club, eventually enhancing, creating and realizing all revenue and profit opportunities. As well as support the management team through recruiting, training, motivating and leading the spa concierge and spa attendant personnel. \n \n Major Responsibilities:\n \n Ensure that each Member and guest receives outstanding service in a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.\n Empowered to guarantee total Member satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our Members at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our Members and guests and assure that all transactions are handled in a legal and ethical manner.\n Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for team Members, Members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the Assistant General Manager or Human Resources immediately. \n Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Yellowstone Club team Members to foster and promote a positive working environment.\n \n \n Essential Job Functions:\n To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n \n Exhibit a professional attitude, diplomacy and an ability to handle difficult situations.\n Uphold and ensure gracious front desk procedures in the booking and handling of customers.\n Responsible for being knowledgeable in regards to all spa services, pricing, and other services provided by YC Spa, Salon & Fitness\n Professionally exhibit proper telephone etiquette with guests in compliance with the terminology dictated by the spa management.\n Enthusiastically serve guests in a timely manner, while implementing proper service standards.\n Practice all sanitation and safety guidelines provided by both the Department of Health and the spa.\n Proactively maintain cleanliness standards in all areas of the Spa, Salon, Retail & Fitness.\n Professionally take and confirm reservations for all services and treatments offered at the spa. \n Answer all incoming calls in an efficient and friendly manner. Consistently provide guests with the requested information concerning their needs.\n Possess an ability to effectively sell and upsell.\n Efficiently process all incoming reservations received\n Promptly mail all literature requests and confirmations.\n Reply to inquiries and requests via website and administrative messages.\n \n \n Financial\n \n Provide support to the Spa Management team through excellent communication and business analysis.\n Assist in developing procedures for accurate inventory control and monitoring Spa guest supplies. \n Implement opportunities for managing operational costs and boosting the bottom line.\n \n \n Marketing\n \n Assist in developing and maintaining gracious and efficient Spa Front Desk and Reservations procedures, with proactive anticipation of guest and Member needs.\n Assist in effectively providing product/service knowledge to the staff with training and trend presentations to maximize the guest experience. \n Involve, engage and motivate the YC Club employee to proactively sell and recommend the Spa.\n Consistently develop dynamic practices and grow sales through training, tools and monitoring.\n Ensure the Spa, Salon, Retail and Fitness Center are always staged for maximum buyer impact.\n \n \n Guest Service\n \n Anticipate, identify and ensure customer needs are being met in the best possible way.\n Assist the Spa Manager in monitoring customer satisfaction with surveys, focus groups, mystery shops and comment cards.\n Develop and deliver credible, competitive, value-plus service to the customer.\n Guide staff to become caring problem solvers, cooperative, accommodating and fair.\n Exhibit a professional attitude, diplomacy and an ability to handle difficult situations.\n Uphold and ensure gracious procedures in the handling of customers. Maintain fresh, effective programs that assist in consistently retaining and growing our customer base.\n Maintain compensation guidelines for customer complaint handling. \n \n \n Staffing and Human Resources\n \n Work with the Spa Manager to develop a recruitment kit for effective recruiting, screening, interviewing and hiring of Coordinators. \n Implement ongoing skills training to ensure service standards are being upheld.\n Assist with developing and monitoring job descriptions and staff goals planning.\n Help maintain staff licensing and certifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.\n Assist the Spa Manager to perform staff evaluation reports with proposed action plans.\n Effectively administer and monitor attendant scheduling procedures.\n Demonstrate an exceptional level of professionalism for the staff to emulate.\n Create a motivating environment of sincerity, warmth and fun for staff and guests.\n Implement negative staff behavior and dismissal guidelines with follow-through.\n Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with direct reports.\n Create the culture of continuous improvements, fun on the job and career growth.\n \n \n Operations\n \n Always maintain the Spa, Salon, Retail and Fitness Center in a very clean, organized and efficient way.\n Maintain an up to date version of the spa procedure manual and ensure Attendant compliance.\n Attend management meetings and convey all relevant information throughout the Spa.\n Work with Spa Manager to hold regular staff meetings to keep staff up to date on all aspects of the Spa’s operation.\n Ensure equipment is maintained in good working order.\n Minimize or eliminate losses through negligence with monitoring programs.\n Implement clearly established opening and closing procedures.\n Manage inventory effectively; follow purchasing standards and ensure compliance.\n \n \n Supervision\n \n Ensure timely completion of all supervisory duties.\n Supervise Coordinating staff. Assist with training, supervising and scheduling of all therapists, salon, spa concierge, and locker attendants. \n With the Spa Manager, administer and oversee performance evaluations for all .\n Professionally handle all spa guest disputes and concerns.\n Assist Spa Manager with implementation of Spa procedural and training materials.\n Assist and support entire spa management team as necessary.\n Assist Management team with operations, problem-solving and training.\n Ensure that all Spa team Members deliver exceptional, unparalleled guest experience and customer service to Spa patrons.\n \n \n Other Duties and Responsibilities:\n \n Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.\n Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance and consistency standards.\n \n \n Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.\n Treat Members, guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times. \n Maintain privacy of our Members at all time.\n Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times. \n Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers and directors.\n Perform work in a safe and high quality manner.\n Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club to Members and guests at all times.\n \n \n Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Bachelor’s degree preferred.\n \n Experience/Education Preferred\n At least two years in a top resort/spa operation.\n \n Certificates & Licenses\n Valid State Driver’s License\n \n Computer Skills\n Able to perform basic computer skills and willing to be trained on specific spa, salon & fitness software. \n \n Language Ability\n Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments. Able to write clearly and legibly. \n \n Math Ability\n Able to perform basic math calculations.\n \n Reasoning Ability\n Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.\n \n Work Environment \n The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. However, the employee may be required to work outside in extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, snow or inclement weather as the demands of the position so dictate. \n \n Physical Demands\n \n Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.\n Must be able to stand and exert well-paced ability for up to four hours in length. Walking and standing are required. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.\n Must be able to lift up to 15lbs.
