Competitive Compensation: Starting at $90,000 base salary, depending on experience 401(k) with Company Match Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Time Off Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Account Employee Discounts High Impact Projects: Lead multidisciplinary builds for entertainment, experiential marketing, theme park, and trade show clients Creative Production Environment: Collaborate directly with production, fabrication, creative, engineering, operations, and client teams Variety and Ownership: Manage five to ten active projects from initial concept through fabrication, installation, and closeout In Person Role: Split time among office administration, shop operations, project meetings, and show sites Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties Manage assigned fabrication projects from initial concept through production, installation, removal, and financial closeout Serve as the primary point of contact for fabrication projects Manage five to ten active projects while balancing deadlines, quality standards, budgets, and production capacity Develop build documents, estimates, production plans, schedules, and budget write ups Schedule and lead fabrication kickoff, CAD, engineering, production, and project status meetings Partner with producers, creative teams, operations, engineers, shop managers, and fabrication leads Estimate labor, materials, equipment, outsourced services, installation, and removal costs Recommend fabrication methods, substrates, materials, tools, and production processes Monitor production calendars and communicate shop bandwidth across departments Delegate work to production teams and monitor project progress Evaluate internal capacity and engage outside vendors when additional or specialized support is required Source and manage vendors for powder coating, water jet cutting, sandblasting, specialty painting, coatings, and related services Purchase project materials, tools, supplies, rentals, and shop equipment within approved budgets Negotiate material pricing and maintain a competitive supplier network Review production orders and determine inventory, staffing, vehicle, equipment, and workflow requirements Develop and maintain production tracking, cost control, inventory control, and quality control systems Inspect and approve assets during preproduction and postproduction phases Set and monitor quality standards for raw materials, production output, and finished assets Identify production issues and coordinate corrective action with technical and administrative teams Maintain project budgets and obtain producer approval before making expenditures Prepare production reports, status updates, and project closeouts, including job profitability analysis Coordinate equipment maintenance, facility modifications, and machinery replacement recommendations Pull, prepare, pack, and coordinate assets for delivery and installation Order rental equipment and ensure timely returns Lead onsite teams during inspections, installations, show execution, and removals Travel to project and show sites, including overnight and out of state assignments Assist with employee concerns and escalate personnel matters to Human Resources when appropriate Maintain current knowledge of fabrication materials, production technologies, quality control practices, and industry developments Qualifications Needed High school diploma or GED preferred Valid driver’s license Minimum four years of related fabrication, production, or project management experience preferred Minimum four years of event production experience preferred Experience managing custom fabrication projects from concept through installation and closeout Strong background in experiential marketing, entertainment production, trade show fabrication, scenic fabrication, or themed environments Experience estimating labor, materials, equipment, outsourced services, and installation costs Experience managing project budgets, production schedules, vendors, procurement, and quality control Working knowledge of fabrication materials, substrates, tools, equipment, and production methodologies Ability to manage five to ten concurrent projects under demanding timelines and budget constraints Experience coordinating across creative, production, engineering, operations, and client facing teams Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, scheduling tools, Airtable, and related project tracking systems Familiarity with CAD and design software sufficient to collaborate with design and engineering teams Ability to travel to project sites, including overnight and out of state assignments Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and regularly lift between 5 and 50 pounds Ability to participate in team lifts between 50 and 100 pounds Ability to work in an active fabrication environment involving climbing, crouching, fumes, noise, heat, and outdoor conditions Interested in hearing more?
