Roof Plus in Point Pleasant, NJ is looking to hire a full-time Warehouse Coordinator / CONSTRUCTION DRIVER to manage our warehouse inventory. Are you a type A personality? If you enjoy a happy, friendly work culture you'll fit right in with Roof Plus.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR / CONSTRUCTION DRIVERIn this warehouse position, you are vital to the operations of our company as you keep our warehouse organized, clean, and secure. You organize trucks and materials in the yard. Always attentive to detail, you review project material lists and check our inventory for stock, ensuring we pull from existing materials to keep our costs down. You organize our project materials prior to the arrival of the crew so that they can load everything quickly. When we are missing items needed for a project, you order, pick up, and deliver them at the request of the field crew. When the field crew is up and running, you will empty dump trucks at the recycling center, tow equipment to or from the job sites, and pickup materials for the next day.Highly organized, you track materials that are returned to the warehouse and allocate them to the appropriate projects for accurate job costing. When new stock is delivered, you carefully sort through everything and ensure that the order is correct. If there are any errors, you coordinate with our suppliers to correct them. Additionally, you complete vehicle inspections. If there are any concerns, you schedule routine maintenance. You also ensure that each vehicle is washed and cleaned out weekly. When necessary, you identify and coordinate tool repairs and maintenance. You love keeping everything organized and take pride in the part you play in the success of our projects!QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR/ EQUIPMENT OPERATORStrong organizational skillsAbility to regularly lift up to 100 lbs.Comfortable driving construction equipmentSome experience driving trucks with trailersNo CDL Required, but must have a valid license and a relatively clean driving recordAre you detail-oriented? Do you work well independently and as part of a team? Are you self-motivated? Can you meet deadlines? Are you flexible and adaptable?
