Patient Coordinator

$20 - $25 per hour

Patient Relations Coordinator Pittsburgh, PA 15205 Pay Rate: $20-25/hr Must Haves: High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred Customer service or outbound call center experience required (1-2+ years) Similar industry experience is necessary Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software Day-to-Day: A closed door pharmacy is looking to hire a Hub Relations Coordinator for a closed door pharmacy to sit in Robinson Township. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about helping customers, working directly with patients, and have a strong technical aptitude to catch on to their systems quickly. Responsibilities: Perform patient outreach to conduct patient enrollment, benefits coordination, financial assistance assessment, insurance verification and arrange delivery Provide patient care to accurately support pharma programs and triage to a pharmacist when required Place outbound phone calls to resolve routine and new issues with patients, doctors and insurers Document all call information and data discovery according to operating procedures Utilize proper escalation channels to meet patient needs & resolve open issues Research required information using available resources Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as State and Federal laws Work collaboratively and cross-functionally between management, the Missouri-based pharmacy, compliance and engineering Shifts: 3 available Shift Options Rotating shifts, 40 hours/week between 8 AM- 9 PM EST , Monday - Friday OR 12 PM- 8 PM EST, Monday - Friday (Fixed Shift) OR 1 PM- 9 PM EST, Monday - Friday (Fixed Shift) All shifts require a rotational Saturday shift from 9 AM - 5 PM EST Compensation: $20/hr to $25/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
