Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and personable In Office Loan Officer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, guiding clients through the mortgage process, and turning qualified opportunities into successful closings.
Leads will be provided , allowing you to focus on connecting with prospective borrowers, building trust, and converting opportunities into funded loans.
Responsibilities
- Follow up promptly and consistently with company provided leads
- Connect with prospective borrowers to understand their home financing needs
- Educate clients on available loan programs and financing options
- Assist borrowers throughout the loan application and pre-approval process
- Collect necessary borrower information and documentation
- Maintain consistent communication with borrowers, agents, processors, and other parties throughout the transaction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners
- Keep accurate notes and follow up activity in the company CRM
- Manage your pipeline from initial contact through funding
- Provide excellent customer service and a positive borrower experience
- Meet individual production and conversion goals
Qualifications
- Mortgage or lending experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Comfortable speaking with and following up with new leads
- Organized, motivated, and able to manage multiple clients at once
- Strong follow through and attention to detail
- Professional, positive, and customer focused
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
