Position SummaryThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with daily activities, including:
Meal services
Bathing and grooming
Ambulation and toileting
General hygiene and comfort needs
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the PointClickCare (PCC) electronic medical record system
Support a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for all residents
Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and report any changes to nursing staff
Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain resident confidentiality
Uphold a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with residents, families, and coworkers
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or clinical staff
Active CNA certification in the State of Indiana
Prior experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
