The largest device company in the world - with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care** **Manufacturing Engineer I** **Location:** Irvine, CA - Onsite 5 days/week **Contract:** 12 months, with potential extension or conversion **Pay** : 38.00-42.00 **Benefits** : Medical, Dental, Holiday, PTO 401K matching We are seeking a **Manufacturing Engineer I** to support and improve manufacturing processes for printed circuit board (PCB) production. This role will focus on process engineering, equipment qualification, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. + Develop, improve, and validate manufacturing processes and equipment. + Support **PCB manufacturing, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), and selective soldering** . + Perform and support **IQ/OQ/PQ equipment qualification and validation** . + Troubleshoot PCB manufacturing and testing issues. + Analyze workflows, equipment layouts, materials, and production processes to improve efficiency and quality. + Develop testing methods and support process verification and validation. + Work with equipment vendors, technicians, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve processes. + Prepare technical reports and maintain manufacturing/process documentation. + Ensure processes comply with applicable quality and regulatory requirements. **Qualifications** + Advanced degree in Engineering or a related discipline. + Experience with **printed circuit board manufacturing** and process engineering. + Knowledge of **verification and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)** . + Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment. **Top Skills:** PCB Manufacturing | Process Engineering | Verification & Validation | SMT | Selective Soldering This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
