Financial and Operations Chart Analyst for AI Training

Apply financial and operational analysis expertise to create high-quality training and evaluation tasks that strengthen advanced AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on interpreting complex visualizations, designing rigorous reasoning questions, and producing clear, verifiable analytical explanations. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Interpret complex financial and operational visualizations, including candlestick charts, yield curves, drawdown charts, market-volume charts, control charts, Pareto charts, process flows, and capacity and throughput charts.
• Create objective questions based on detailed charts that require multi-step quantitative analysis and domain knowledge beyond surface-level observations.
• Provide precise answers with comprehensive written explanations, explicit analytical steps, and calculations in professional English.
• Use accurate financial, economic, and operational terminology, with clear treatment of units, scales, timeframes, categories, and notation.
• Develop tasks involving graphical reasoning, comparisons, trend analysis, calculations, and interpolation while avoiding subjective or ambiguous wording.
• Collaborate remotely in written and verbal formats, incorporate feedback, and deliver consistent, reliable contributions.
• Produce objectively verifiable tasks that support the training and evaluation of advanced AI models.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least two years of professional, academic, or research experience interpreting financial market data, risk metrics, or operational performance charts.
• Advanced ability to interpret chart axes, units, legends, scales, and annotations across varied chart types.
• Strong written and spoken English skills, including the ability to explain analytical processes and quantitative reasoning clearly.
• Bilingual English proficiency and, ideally, a second language relevant to finance or operations.
• Experience with technical documentation, financial reporting, process or quality assessment, or structured analytical task creation.
• Experience producing data-annotation tasks, benchmark questions, technical reports, or similar deliverables for finance, operations, or AI-related projects is valued.

• Remote contract engagement.

$25 to $50 per hour.
