Financial Chart Analysis Expert for AI Training

This contractor role focuses on interpreting complex financial and operational charts and converting that expertise into precise, objective tasks and answers that train and evaluate advanced AI systems. You will create unambiguous reasoning questions, provide stepwise quantitative explanations, and ensure domain-accurate terminology and notation. No prior AI experience is required, the role values subject matter expertise in finance, operations, or related fields.

• Interpret a wide range of chart types, including candlestick charts, yield curves, drawdown charts, market-volume charts, control charts, Pareto charts, process flows, and capacity or throughput charts.
• Design clear, objective reasoning questions based on complex visualizations that require multi-step quantitative analysis, comparisons, trend interpretation, interpolation, or calculations.
• Provide unambiguous, verifiable answers in professional English, including explicit analytical steps, formulas, or calculations needed to reach the answer.
• Apply accurate financial, economic, and operational terminology, and clearly specify units, scales, timeframes, categories, and notation in every submission.
• Avoid subjective or ambiguous language when drafting tasks; ensure tasks are testable and objectively verifiable.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams, incorporate feedback, and communicate clearly in written and verbal formats to maintain consistent quality across contributions.
• Consistently produce deliverables that support training, evaluation, and benchmarking of AI models in chart reasoning and quantitative analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum two years of professional, academic, or research experience interpreting financial market data, risk metrics, or operational performance charts.
• Demonstrated accuracy in chart interpretation, including advanced proficiency with axes, units, legends, scales, and annotations across diverse chart types.
• Proven ability in multi-step quantitative reasoning, and in clearly articulating analytical processes in written and spoken English.
• Experience designing unambiguous questions or structured analytical tasks, or producing technical documentation, financial reports, process or quality assessments, or data-annotation tasks.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and an additional language relevant to financial or operational contexts is an advantage, but not required.
