Maintenance Manager - Plastics

Growing plastics company with multiple manufacturing locations has an outstanding opportunity available in Phoenix, AZ area for a Maintenance Manager. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED and 3 to 7 years of related experience 5 direct reports Experience in plastics, injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, thermoplastics, polyolefins, thermoforming or polymers is preferred Accountability – ability to accept responsibility and account for actions Motivation – ability to inspire oneself and others to reach a goal and/or perform to the best of their ability Resource Management (People & Equipment) – ability to obtain and appropriately use equipment, facilities, materials, and personnel Safety Awareness – ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety Problem Solving – ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Support and follow safety rules and regulations Supervise Maintenance Department functions to support manufacturing of plastic products Maintain regular, reliable attendance and be willing to work outside the regular schedule as required Handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace Troubleshoot equipment issues Develop training manuals for the maintenance department Implement improvement projects to minimize equipment downtime and improve machine efficiency Be available for call-ins during nights and weekends as equipment issues arise Analyze downtime, reports and monthly performance reports Manage spare stock purchasing and store stock application This position offers a very competitive base salary, bonus potential & comprehensive benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
