## Drafter/AutoCAD ProfessionalColorado Springs, CO, USApply NowFind out how well you match with this jobJob ID327335Job Title: Drafter/AutoCAD ProfessionalJob Category: Engineering and Technical SupportTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: NoneType of Travel: NoneAnticipated Posting End: 7/31/2026**The Opportunity:**CACI is seeking an experienced Drafter / AutoCAD Professional to support drafting and technical documentation efforts in Colorado Springs.**Responsibilities:** In this position you will develop complete layouts and engineering drawings for equipment such as rack and component assemblies, schematics, interconnect diagrams, cable lists, etc., from notes, rough sketches, or general instructions of engineers and designers. You will review engineering drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. Changes drawings / CAD models to meet altered engineering requirements based on sketches, specifications, manufacturing procedures or Engineering Change Notices. Makes and verifies arithmetic computations using standard formulas. Determines scaling, inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations and sectioning. Reviews dimensions, materials and quantities specified in completed work of other drafters for accuracy and completeness. **Qualifications:***Required** Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience.* A minimum of three (3) years training and experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other drafting application* A minimum of five (5) years experience involving design, drawing development for construction, conversion or the overhaul and repair of electrical, mechanical or structural equipment, with at least two (2) of these years spent checking Engineering drawings in either Structural, Electrical, Mechanical or Combat Systems Engineering disciplines.* Able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance* Willingness to travel*Desired** High level of attention to detail, an ability to communicate clearly and the ability to work well with others.* Experience with the Air Force Satellite Control Network* SECRET security clearance-**What You Can Expect:****A culture of integrity.**At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
