Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with critical care experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at a Level 1 academic teaching hospital in Boston, MA.
Details
- Inpatient hospital setting within a Respiratory Therapy department at a Level 1 academic teaching hospital
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
- On-call availability required
- No floating required
- No charge nurse requirement
Requirements
- Current MA Respiratory Therapist license required if applicable
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Critical care, Level 1, and academic teaching hospital experience required
- Proficiency with computer systems required, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions accepted)
- COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted)
Additional Information
- Orientation takes place on Mondays
- Candidates who have previously worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have been separated for at least one year prior to consideration
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Parking in the Boston area can cost up to $43/day
