Facilities Manager

About the Role This role is responsible for overseeing the facilities management operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all regulations. The position plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and functionality of the workplace, contributing significantly to the organization's overall success. Key Responsibilities Exhibit a professional attitude that aligns with workplace principles to maintain a positive environment. Promote teamwork and actively participate in team activities. Identify and support employee growth and training opportunities. Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards. Enforce safety rules and maintain a healthful workplace. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EEOC, FLSA regulations and prevent discrimination. Manage the Facilities Engineering Department to achieve high customer satisfaction. Provide leadership to set departmental goals, objectives, and performance metrics. Manage facilities engineering equipment and issues. Develop and maintain departmental budgets. Manage capital equipment installations with approval from relevant managers. Develop relationships with suppliers and manage outsourced facility maintenance activities. Ensure contractor compliance with local, state, federal, OSHA, NFPA, EPA guidelines. Participate in continuous improvement and strategic planning processes. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or twelve years of related experience. Minimum five years of technical experience in painting automotive exterior decorative plastics. Exceptional organizational, communication, and people skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. Walk up and down stairs frequently. Lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Work near alcohols, solvents, paints, or plastic sanding dust. Work below the knees and above the shoulders. Good vision and color distinction required, with or without corrective lenses.
