Job Opportunity – Interventional Cardiologist – Arizona

Start Date: August 2025

Location: Verde Valley, Arizona

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with possible weekend rotation. Alternating weekly rotation between hospital and clinic settings.

Highlights:

• Ongoing interventional cardiology coverage supporting a busy Cardiovascular Institute serving patients age 60 and older
• STEMI and cardiology consult coverage with 8-14 hospital consults per day and 18-24 clinic patients daily
• Perform 4-5 procedures per day including TEEs (1-2 daily) with no CT backup required
• Comprehensive support staff including medical assistants, PCTs, nurses, and PA support
• Cerner EMR system with 4-hour remote orientation provided
• 87-bed facility with established cardiovascular service line

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology required
• Active Arizona medical license or willingness to obtain (support available for licensing process)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of interventional cardiology experience
• Recent case logs demonstrating consistent procedural volume within the last 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Strong interpersonal and relational skills with staff and patients
