Join Our Team as an Adult Psychiatrist
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to become part of our expanding inpatient team at the newly established Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital located in St. Paul, Minnesota.
This modern, 144-bed facility has been specifically designed to cater to individuals with acute mental health challenges, providing a secure, therapeutic, and recovery-oriented atmosphere. As our program grows, physicians will have the chance to influence scheduling, workflow, and clinical program development in partnership with proactive hospital leadership.
Compensation & Benefits- Base Salary: $347,000

- Annual CME Allowance: $5,000

- Full-Time (1.0 FTE) position in Adult Inpatient Psychiatry
- Structured, team-oriented coverage model ensuring 24/7 continuity of care
- Shared call rotation supported by hospitalists and moonlighters
- Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support to maintain manageable workloads
- Collaborative multidisciplinary treatment teams, including nursing, therapy, and social work
- Engagement in daily interdisciplinary rounds
- Opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and program expansion
- Strong administrative and clinical leadership focused on physician well-being
- Flexible scheduling that adapts as the team grows, ensuring manageable inpatient volumes
- MD or DO from an accredited medical institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota
- Preferred experience in inpatient psychiatry
- Fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, Pain Medicine, or Hospice & Palliative Medicine is welcomed
