Inpatient Pharmacist Position

An inpatient pharmacist position is available at a 315-bed hospital facility in Corrales, NM, supporting patient care with medication management and clinical pharmacy services. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, beginning March 10, with a working schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense medications accurately for inpatient use
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care
• Monitor patient medication therapies for safety and efficacy
• Prepare and maintain documentation in compliance with hospital policies
• Participate in medication reconciliation and patient education

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Current New Mexico Pharmacist license
• Strong knowledge of hospital inpatient pharmacy operations
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Shift Schedule:

• 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Every other weekend
