Relationship Manager - Japanese Corporates (Midwest, U.S.)

Primary Responsibilities
•Develop and grow banking business with Japanese corporate clients in the Midwest region.
•Support senior Relationship Managers with business planning, marketing, and sales activities.
•Manage client relationships: understand business needs, oversee accounts, and propose solutions in loans, deposits, transaction banking, FX, and derivatives.
•Prepare lending proposals, negotiate terms, and coordinate credit approvals.
•Promote cross-selling opportunities and enhance client engagement through strong service and product expertise.
•Act as liaison between clients, internal teams, Tokyo HQ, and global offices.
•Provide operational and administrative support as needed.

Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
•Minimum 3 years' experience in corporate finance or relationship management.
•Banking experience in U.S. and international markets preferred.
•Strong communication and relationship management skills in both English and Japanese.
•Ability to read and analyze English financial statements.
•Must be able to drive (U.S. driver's license can be obtained after joining).
