Responsibilities Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs) Support clients in community integration, social activities, and recreational outings Administer medications and document care accurately in compliance with care plans Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and behavioral support strategies Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals regarding client progress Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment for clients Requirements High school diploma or GED required Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or in a related field preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and client-centered approach CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed About Us Perfect Placement Home Care LLC is a trusted home care provider serving the Cleveland, OH community with a commitment to dignity, respect, and individualized care.
