Duties:
Job Summary: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Required Skills & Experience: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Required Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).

13 week contract Auto Offers Approved REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience, BLS from AHA, current active MI RN licensure. Preferred - Med Surg experience at a Level 2 trauma facility May be asked to float to lockdown unit (gen med surg patients) please make sure candidates are aware. Block scheduling is NOT available - site tries to schedule shifts consecutively but cannot guarantee the same days every week OT Billed after 48 hours
