Project Manager - Data Center Mission Critical Construction

As a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Data Center Construction (Mission Critical Construction), you will oversee complex design/build and construction projects from initial concept through final completion. This is a hands-on leadership role managing all construction activities while partnering closely with clients, design teams, and field personnel to ensure exceptional outcomes.

What You'll Do

Project Leadership & Planning

• Lead all phases ofdesign/build, construction management, or construct-only projects
• Support projectdirectors with RFP responses, conceptual estimates, schedules, andproposal documents
• Drive project planning,sequencing, and scheduling with superintendents and subcontractors
• Conduct jobsite meetingsand maintain accurate, up-to-date project schedules

Design, Preconstruction & Procurement

• Monitor progress ofdesign documents and participate in design reviews
• Provide input onconstructability, scope changes, and cost impacts
• Prepare detailedestimates, cost codes, and cost-control systems
• Develop bid packages,solicit bids, evaluate proposals, and award subcontracts and majorpurchase orders

Execution, Financial Management & Reporting

• Manage project costcontrols, labor reports, and project status summaries
• Oversee submittalprocesses to ensure alignment with project schedules
• Coordinate permitting,inspections, and approvals with authorities having jurisdiction
• Lead clientcommunications, progress meetings, and formal reporting
• Prepare invoicing,manage project cash flow, and oversee payments to vendors/subcontractors
• Address subcontractorperformance issues, including documentation and corrective actions

Quality, Safety & Team Development

• Monitor project progressto ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols
• Partner withsuperintendents to resolve field challenges quickly and effectively
• Mentor and supportdeveloping construction personnel
• Manage project close-out,punch-list items, and warranty activities

Requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degreein Construction Management, Engineering , or related field
• 3-10+ years of experience indata construction project management
• Strong backgroundin data center facility design and construction
• Expertise in projectbudgets, scheduling, estimating, and resource management
• Knowledge ofconstruction methods, engineering concepts, materials, and technology
• Excellent communication,leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
• Strong understanding ofsafety requirements and best practices

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to travel to jobsites and safely perform tasks involving standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and occasionally lifting materials (10-50 lbs). Must have strong hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity to operate equipment, read plans, and use a computer.
