Floor Technician Job Specification:
Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility's floors, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
Floor Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform routine floor maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing floors.
- Stripping and waxing floors as needed to maintain a polished and professional appearance.
- Operate floor care equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors safely and efficiently.
- Inspect floors for damage or wear and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing floor care tasks.
- Assist with general cleaning duties in other areas of the facility as needed.
Floor Technician Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Floor Technician or similar role preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, equipment, and products.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, lift heavy objects, and operate floor care equipment.
