Service Advisor

Job Overview Job Location: Del Amo Motorsports of San Diego - CHULA VISTA, CA 91911. Salary Range: $19.00 - $20.00 Base + Commission/month. Leading power sports dealership in Chula Vista, CA is looking for a Service Advisor with experience in the Powersports Industry. Responsibilities Greet every customer that walks in immediately. Provide a high level of customer service in a courteous and professional manner. Proper write up of customer concerns, including walk around, VIN check for recalls and warranty status, accurate information on R.O., upsell. Perform open R.O. follow up, including special order follow up, dispatch, calling closed out R.O.s, inform customer of progress. Close out all R.O.s as they are turned in. Perform QC check on all closed out R.O.s, including ensuring vehicle is clean and work is performed properly. Perform follow up calls on previous days R.O.s. Perform cold calls on open recall reports: all manufacturers. Continuous training with online training (or other sources) from manufacturers. Maintain a positive work environment with customers and employees. Additional Responsibilities Communicate with the service manager or upper management about any customer or employee related concerns. Dispatch R.O.s as needed. Clean counter and surrounding area. Review service schedule for next available schedule dates for walk in work. Set/estimate appointments for all call in customers wanting to bring unit in. Call customers who have appointments for the next day, and confirm if they are dropping unit off. Comeback logs needs to be updated as R.O is written and make an additional copy to be turned into Service Administrator. Text end of day numbers to owners and appropriate management: customer, internal and warranty, and total labor. Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department including general housekeeping. Follow company dress code and be well groomed at all times. Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole. Physical Demands Employee will predominantly be walking or standing. Required to be able to talk and hear, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. Climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Qualifications High School degree or equivalent. Strong background in the Motorsports industry. Prefer interest or experience in Motorsports industry. Creative problem solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act tactically. Highly organized with ability to multi-task across multiple projects; excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Requires excellent communication skills to deal with customers and employees. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent, is expected. #J-18808-Ljbffr
