Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading national real estate developer is hiring for a Senior Accountant to join it's Miami Headquarters (Coral Gables) as soon as possible. The company specializes in commercial, residential, and mixed-use real estate across the United States. This is an on-site role based in Coral Gables 5 days/week. The position will be a key part of a 10-person accounting & finance team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of Accounting and Finance experience, preferably from the real estate or construction industry. Daily responsibilities include posting JE's, GL Maintenance, assisting with Month-End and Year-End Close, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. Responsibilities Ensure business transactions are correctly logged into GL and reported in accordance with GAAP Work closely with team members to assist with Month-End and Year-End Close Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes Research and analyze expense variances for company management. Qualifications 4+ years' of professional accounting experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics #J-18808-Ljbffr Ascendo Resources
