You will assist with document organization, drafting, research, and administrative work that helps the team operate effectively.This internship is ideal for students who are interested in pursuing a legal career and want to strengthen their research, writing, communication, and organizational skills. You will be trusted with meaningful responsibilities while learning how legal and regulatory work supports the business.WHAT YOU WILL DOOrganize legal materials: File, organize, and maintain documents that support the Regulatory team.Draft documents: Assist with preparing and reviewing written materials for the legal team.Conduct legal research: Complete basic research to help inform regulatory and legal work.Support team operations: Assist with general administrative tasks and day-to-day team priorities.Collaborate with the Regulatory team: Provide dependable support and communicate progress, questions, and updates.Build professional judgment: Apply attention to detail, discretion, and follow-through when handling assignments.WHAT YOU WILL GAINHands-on experience supporting a corporate legal and regulatory teamExposure to the role of regulatory and legal work within the energy industryExperience with legal research, document drafting, and file organizationOpportunities to strengthen professional writing, grammar, and communication skillsExperience managing assignments independently while contributing to a collaborative teamA stronger understanding of potential career paths in the legal fieldWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORA strong interest in pursuing a career in the legal fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent reading, writing, and grammatical skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailThe ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with follow-throughA strong work ethic, initiative, and drive to succeedProfessional interpersonal skills and a willingness to learnAt IGS Energy, you will do more than intern, you will make an impact.
