Job Title: Cook - Per Diem Department: Food and Nutrition Services Location: Clifton Springs Hospital Address: 2 Coulter Road, Clifton Springs, NY Hours Per Week: Per Diem / As Needed to fill in for other cooks Schedule: 8 hour Shifts with alternating Weekends Shifts are either 5:30am to 1:30pm or 10am to 6pm Position Summary To prepare and cook food items and baked goods for patients/residents, cafeteria, catering, vending, and all retail operations within RGHS. Key Responsibilities Prepare food items and baked goods according to daily assignments. Maintain sufficient supplies of hot and cold foods for daily needs. Assists Senior Cook in food preparation as requested. Maintains the highest level of customer service as outlined by department and RGHS policies. Follows all departmental HAACP procedures including logging of all temperatures. Cleans all equipment used in accordance with New York State Sanitation Code, Chapter 1, Part 14. Responsible for attending all scheduled meetings and retaining all In-service information requested. Performs other duties as required or assigned. PAY RANGE: $17.50 - $21.58
