RN - Oncology

Registered Nurse - Outpatient Infusion Center

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Infusion Center, focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a comfortable and convenient setting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in intravenous therapy and experience in outpatient oncology.

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous (IV) medications, including antibiotics, antifungals, and steroids.
• Perform blood and blood product transfusions, and maintain central venous access devices.
• Provide hydration therapy and IV immune globulin therapy (IVIG).
• Educate patients on self-administration of medications and provide teaching for therapeutic phlebotomies.
• Manage specialty medications for various chronic conditions.

Schedule

This position offers flexible day shifts, with hours varying between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion.
• Chemotherapy Certificate (ONS) and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required.
• Experience with peripheral IV insertion, port/fistula/catheter management.
• IV Certification is highly preferred.
• EPIC experience is required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
