Rooms Controller - Hotel Operations

Job Summary Under the direction of the Front Desk Manager, the individual is responsible for the accurate rating of rooms and ensuring the room rack is properly adjusted at all times. Essential Job Functions Check out any vacant and clean (due out) rooms and change their status in the rack. Run alert date reports. Review out‑of‑order and off‑market rooms daily for validity. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest requests. Process guest check‑outs via video check‑out. Provide bell assistance to guests upon departure and run applicable reports to verify correct room rates. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent education required. Previous front desk/hotel experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Work Environment The employee frequently stands, walks, uses hands to handle or feel objects, reaches with hands and arms, talks, hears, tastes and smells. The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment. The casino environment is hectic, fast‑paced and often crowded and noisy. Exposure to second‑hand smoke, excessive noise and constant public presence may occur. Licensing & Background Check Final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations prior to an offer being extended. Background checks may include a credit check, criminal background check, and other relevant checks.
