Key Responsibilities

? Support the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager in ensuring product quality and operational excellence.

? Follow all company policies and procedures, including:

• cGMP requirements

• ISO standards

• Health & Safety regulations

• Continuous Improvement initiatives

• Standard work instructions

? Read and interpret:

• Engineering drawings

• Specifications

• Technical manuals

• Test procedures and inspection documentation

? Perform inspections and quality testing on materials and finished products to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications.

? Analyze test data, complete calculations, and document findings accurately.

? Review and approve lot documentation while ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

? Collect and evaluate samples for testing and quality verification.

? Compare product characteristics such as color, shape, texture, and material quality against established standards and reference samples.

? Utilize precision measuring equipment, including:

• Calipers

• Micrometers

• Gauges

• Force gauges

• CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)

• Optical measuring systems

? Identify, document, and communicate quality issues and recommend corrective actions.

? Prepare and complete:

• Nonconformance Reports (NCRs)

• Rework Instructions

• Deviation Reports

? Accept, reject, or segregate materials and products based on inspection results.

? Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

? Previous Quality Inspection experience preferred

? Experience working in a cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environment is a plus

? Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

? Comfortable reading technical drawings and specifications

? Experience with measuring and inspection equipment

? Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
