INTAKE COORDINATOR

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• strong customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse people

• Verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of health insurance and various medical procedures
• Ability to use software programs and medical technology
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills
• Fluency in other languages is beneficial
  
  

• Work Schedule During Training Period:  7:00 am to 3:00 pm CST
• Work Schedules After Training Period: 8:00am -4:30pm CST, 830AM-5PM CST, 9AM-530P CST or 930A-6PM CST
• Help patients & Facilities with pre-authoriziations and questions 
• Track claims through the process, check and monitor the status of claims
• Transfer patients and providers to the customer service team regarding benefits
• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
• Answers phones and completes associated clerical tasks
