CNC Maintenance TechnicianHot JobPhoenix 401 Building - Phoenix, AZ 85034OverviewSalary Range $32.00 - $38.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift 1st Shift Education Level High SchoolDescriptionMUST HAVE CNC MACHINE REPAIR EXPERIENCE $2500 sign on bonus SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.This position is in Northstar's Continuous Improvement Department, and reports to the Manager CI/TPM/Facilities. The position works with all levels of employees throughout the organization as necessary but does not direct the work of other employees. This is a full-time position.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential duties and responsibilities of this position are listed below. This list is not all inclusive and may be amended by Northstar, from time to time.Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipmentProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePerform simple machinist duties and responsibilitiesPerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsPerform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilitiesMust possess good working knowledge of hydraulic systems, motors, pumps and be capable of disassembly repair and reassembly of major machine componentsMust possess the knowledge to and will be required to perform building maintenance and other associated tasksDetect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisionSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will not direct the work of any other employees.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical requirements of this position are listed below.
