Executive Driver & Hospitality Concierge

Reports To: Director of Property Management - LaSalle Plaza Work Location: LaSalle Plaza – Downtown Minneapolis (As assigned in the Minneapolis metro area) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 – 5pm (occasional early mornings, evenings, or special events as needed) Hempel is a commercial real estate firm based in Minnesota with investments across the Midwest. About the Role Hempel Real Estate is seeking a highly professional, service-oriented Executive Driver & Hospitality Concierge to serve as the face of our hospitality program while providing executive transportation services to building tenants and guests. This position combines luxury customer service, concierge responsibilities, executive driving, amenities management, and operational support to help deliver an exceptional Class A office experience. This individual works to ensure exceptional building performance, operational excellence, and hospitable tenant experiences. The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, service-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. During periods when transportation services are not in demand, the Executive Driver & Hospitality Concierge will support building operations, tenant engagement, property management initiatives, and the oversight of premium amenities. This position reports directly to the LaSalle Plaza Director of Property Management. Key Responsibilities Executive Driver Services (25–35%) Provide safe, courteous, and professional transportation for tenants and authorized guests Maintain a luxury-level customer experience with every ride Assist passengers with entry, exit, luggage, and personal belongings when appropriate Monitor transportation requests and maintain an efficient ride schedule Ensure vehicle cleanliness, fueling, maintenance, inspections, and appearance at all times Coordinate vehicle servicing and maintain maintenance records Practice defensive driving and comply with all traffic laws and company policies Hospitality & Concierge Services (25–30%) Serve as a hospitality ambassador for LaSalle Plaza Greet tenants and visitors in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner Assist with wayfinding, visitor inquiries, recommendations, transportation requests, and local information Support VIP visitors, ownership representatives, brokers, and prospective tenants during tours Help coordinate hospitality experiences and special tenant appreciation events Foster positive tenant relationships through exceptional customer service Amenities Oversight (15–20%) Perform daily inspections of amenity spaces including but not limited to Conference Center, Golf Simulators, Fitness Center Ensure spaces remain clean, organized, stocked, and guest ready Restock coffee stations, refreshments, supplies, and promotional materials as needed Identify maintenance or housekeeping concerns and coordinate timely resolution Assist with conference room readiness and event setup Property Operations Support (15–20%) Perform daily property quality inspections throughout common areas Report operational deficiencies and follow through until resolved Assist Property Management with Building inspections, Inventory management, Tenant move-ins and move-outs, Building communications and notices Provide operational support during emergencies and special events Assist with seasonal projects and building initiatives Administrative Responsibilities (5–10%) Maintain transportation logs and usage reports Track vehicle mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules Assist with tenant reservation systems for amenities Support tenant engagement initiatives and building events Complete miscellaneous administrative tasks assigned by property management Other duties as assigned Minimum Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid Minnesota driver's license with a clean driving record 2+ years of professional customer service or hospitality experience Professional appearance and demeanor Excellent time management and planning skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to sit and drive for extended periods Walk multiple miles throughout the property daily Occasionally bend, kneel, climb stairs, and reach overhead Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Desired Qualifications & Characteristics Experience as an executive chauffeur, concierge, hospitality ambassador, or luxury hotel associate Commercial real estate, hotel, or private club experience CPR/AED certification Experience working with executives or VIP clientele Familiarity with downtown Minneapolis Professional, personable, and engaging Highly dependable, resourceful, and detail-oriented Team-oriented Calm under pressure Additional Requirements Ability to travel occasionally for team events and meetings or collaboration Exceptionally self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously Proactive communicator across email, verbal, and instant messaging Must be 18 years or older Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States Our Benefits Offered Medical insurance coverage – covered 90% by employer for the employee HSA‑eligible medical plans Dental insurance coverage Vision insurance 401(k) plan – 4% match on a 5% contribution Short‑term disability insurance Long‑term disability insurance Life insurance Critical illness insurance Hospital indemnity insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) Unlimited planned paid time off Paid company holidays Family day Free downtown parking Class A onsite amenities which include access to: Fitness center Sauna Cold plunge Pickleball court Golf simulators Hempel Real Estate is committed to building a diverse and inclusive work environment.
