Job Summary The Vice President, Information Technology is a senior executive responsible for defining and executing the enterprise-wide technology vision and strategy for the company's retail, production, distribution, and corporate operations. This role serves as a key member of the executive leadership team, directing all aspects of information technology, including infrastructure, business systems, application development, information security, and IT support, while ensuring technology investments align with and accelerate business strategy, operational efficiency, and the customer experience. The VP owns the IT capital and operating budget, leads a multi-disciplinary IT organization, and is accountable for the reliability, security, and scalability of technology systems that support the company's operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Strategic Leadership & Business Alignment Serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, contributing to long-range business planning and identifying technology-driven opportunities to strengthen brand position, customer experience, and operational performance Own and direct the company's overall IT strategy, architecture, and roadmap, ensuring hardware, software, and systems investments meet current and future business needs in a scalable, cost-effective manner Partner with business unit leaders across retail, production, distribution, and corporate functions to assess technology needs and deliver solutions that support operational goals Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions, including digital and omnichannel capabilities, that differentiate the company's brand and enhance the customer shopping experience Data Architecture & Governance Lead the enterprise-wide rearchitecture of the company's data ecosystem, establishing a modern, scalable data architecture that consolidates and organizes data across retail, production, distribution, and corporate systems Establish enterprise data governance standards, including data ownership, quality, integrity, security, and lifecycle management, ensuring data is trusted, consistent, and reliable across the organization Champion a data-driven decision-making culture, partnering with business leaders to identify high-value use cases where data and analytics can accelerate and improve strategic and operational decisions Direct the development of business intelligence and analytics capabilities, including reporting, dashboards, and self-service tools, that give leaders and teams timely access to actionable insights Evaluate and implement technologies (e.g., master data management, data integration/ETL platforms, analytics and AI tools) that improve the organization's ability to capture, store, and utilize data effectively Ensure data architecture and governance practices comply with applicable data privacy and security regulations Build data literacy and analytics capability across the organization, including talent strategy for data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence roles within the IT organization Financial & Vendor Management Develop and manage the annual IT capital and operating budget; analyze financial performance and utilization data to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure effective allocation of resources, including labor Negotiate and manage relationships with key technology vendors and service providers, including contract terms, service levels, and total cost of ownership Security, Risk & Compliance Own enterprise information security and risk management strategy, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of company data and systems; serve as the executive accountable for cybersecurity posture and incident response Establish, communicate, and enforce IT governance, security policy, and technical standards across the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, data privacy laws) Direct business continuity and disaster recovery planning for all IT systems supporting retail, production, and distribution operations Organizational Leadership & Talent Development Build, lead, and develop a high-performing IT organization across infrastructure, business systems, IT support, and security functions; establish organizational structure, leadership talent, and succession plans to meet current and future business needs Partner with Employee Experience to forecast staffing needs, build internal talent pipelines, and lead selection processes for key IT leadership positions Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and employee engagement within the IT organization, consistent with company values Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Communicate technology strategy, priorities, and performance to executive leadership, the board (as applicable), and key stakeholders, ensuring appropriate visibility and input into decisions affecting their teams Other Job Duties (Not considered essential to the job) Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.
