Medical Assistant I Certified- Neurology Clinic (Day 40)

Shift Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm The Neurology Clinic The Neurology Clinic provides diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients with neurological and neurosurgical disorders including Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Stroke, Alzheimer Dementia, Dystrophy disorders, Seizure disorders, and Brain and Spine disorders. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) In ambulatory practice areas, the CMA functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for direct patient care and clinic operations in the ambulatory clinic environment. The CMA maintains the environment of care and supplies/equipment, shares responsibility with other clinicians to ensure a safe environment for patients and to provide quality care and a positive patient experience, and may be required to float between ambulatory practice areas. Shifts 8 hour day shift, Monday-Friday. No nights or weekends. Certified Medical Assistant Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program required. Completion of CMA certification with credentials of RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CCMA or CMAA required prior to hire. Valid BLS CPR certification required upon hire; accepts AHA, Red Cross, and military training network. Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CMA experience. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
