Location: Massena, NY, United States

Shift: Day Shift (4x12) | 07:00 – 19:00
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will provide direct patient care for medically complex patients, monitor cardiac rhythms, manage treatments, and support rapid response situations in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
Administer medications, blood products, and prescribed treatments
Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IV access
Perform IV insertion and maintenance of vascular access devices
Provide respiratory support including oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and nasal cannula
Manage patients with COPD, pneumonia, chest pain, CVA, seizures, and infections
Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed
Maintain infection control and isolation precautions
Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Required Qualifications

Active New York State RN License
Minimum 2 years of acute care MS/Tele experience
BLS and ACLS certification required
Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and management
Experience with IV therapy, central line care, and critical patient monitoring
Epic EMR experience required
Ability to work in high-acuity hospital environments
