Field Reimbursement Manager, Oncology

Field-based position supporting oncology healthcare providers through education on patient access programs, reimbursement processes, and specialty pharmacy networks. The role requires deep expertise in medical billing, payer policies, and Medicare coverage dynamics to facilitate appropriate claims submission and access solutions.

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs, access tools, and reimbursement services
• Communicate specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support options
• Advise providers on payer policies, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes
• Manage key accounts and collaborate with internal oncology teams on account strategy
• Report payer trends and maintain current knowledge of managed care and reimbursement activities

Requirements

• Oncology or hematology-oncology experience with physician-administered therapies and buy-and-bill products
• Demonstrated expertise in coverage, coding, billing, prior authorization, and payer policy
• Strong understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D reimbursement dynamics
• Ability to communicate technical billing and coding requirements across all care settings
• Healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing eligibility and good standing status
• Bachelor's degree and valid driver's license
• Territory and account management skills
