Logistics Spec I (Weekend Days)

Position Purpose Under moderate supervision, perform a variety of material handling, inventory coordination, and distribution tasks to support manufacturing, service centers, and logistics operations. Ensure timely and accurate movement, tracking, and documentation of materials in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Process pick tickets and material requests by pulling, issuing, and transporting parts to support manufacturing, service centers, spare parts sales, backshops and distribution centers. Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles to move materials between departments and designated locations. Unload freight and verify paperwork. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper data entry and use of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Corridor). Track parts to support schedules and customer requirements. Follow safety and quality procedures, identify potential hazards, and ensure all work meets regulatory and company standards. Handle dangerous goods per standards. Assist with inspection and tagging. Elevate discrepancies with clear communication and follow-up actions. Maintain a clean work environment. Participate in improvement initiatives. Obtain certification to operate material handling equipment and meet all training requirements. Support Lean and sustainability initiatives and learn Lean concepts. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma or GED required; entry level. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain forklift certification. Experience with inventory systems preferred. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work all shifts and weekends. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must comply with FAA regulations and quality procedures on documentation.
