Senior Director, Clinical Pharmacology

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology to lead strategic and scientific oversight of clinical pharmacology activities across drug development programs. The role involves managing clinical pharmacology teams, developing PK/PD strategies, influencing cross-functional development decisions, and serving as a subject matter expert for regulatory interactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics leads across programs
- Develop and execute clinical pharmacology strategy spanning all development phases
- Represent department on cross-functional disease strategy teams and governance forums
- Supervise design and oversight of clinical pharmacology studies, data analysis, and reporting
- Serve as clinical pharmacology subject matter expert for regulatory submissions and health authority interactions
Requirements
- MS, PhD, or PharmD in relevant field; PharmD with post-doctoral training acceptable
- 10+ years clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics experience with demonstrated career progression
- Deep expertise in drug development processes and small molecule and/or biologic characterization
- Proven team leadership and mentorship capabilities in a matrix environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills for scientific reporting and presentations
- Proficiency in PK, PK/PD, and model-informed drug development principles and analyses
- Programming experience desired (NONMEM, R, WinNonlin, SAS, Splus)
Compensation: $239,860–$290,656 base
