Pharmacy Floor Technician
Location: Columbus, OH
Contract Duration : 3 - 6 months
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:30 PM-9:00 PM
Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends may be required.
Rate: $21.00 per hour

Job Summary
The Pharmacy Floor Technician is responsible for picking, labeling, scanning, packaging, and preparing medications/prescriptions for final verification by a pharmacist. This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fill daily medication orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
• Pick/pull medications from shelves and medication storage areas.
• Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy.
• Prepare finished prescriptions for final pharmacist verification.
• Package medications and other pharmacy products.
• Process returned medications and recycle/dispose of them according to established procedures.
• Prepack, label, and store frequently ordered medications during lower-volume periods.
• Notify the pharmacist when a medication or product does not scan correctly.
• Maintain assigned workstations and replenish necessary supplies.
• Follow applicable government regulations and pharmacy policies.
• Comply with safety, attendance, and dress-code requirements.
• Work overtime, holidays, and rotating weekends when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear and active Ohio Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Ability to work at a moderate pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
