Job Summary FSRI is seeking a candidate to provide supervision of women and children in an emergency shelter setting. The role involves maintaining safety, enforcing house rules per the Policy & Procedures Manual, and promoting the physical and mental well‑being of residents. Responsibilities Supervise women and children in the emergency shelter. Ensure safety and adherence to house rules. Respond to building incidents within 20–30 minutes. Provide a supportive environment that promotes residents' well‑being. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social work or related field, or significant residential/childcare experience. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts. Knowledge of cultural, ethnic, racial and socioeconomic diversity. Ability to implement child‑management techniques such as positive modeling and instruction for parents. Excellent oral, written and electronic communication skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Bilingual/ASL skills compensated by an additional 6% of base pay. Multilingual skills compensated by an additional 8% of base pay.
