Engineer III

This opportunity entails being responsible for the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects. The position works closely with the project manager to perform research, development, calculations, design, and delivery. It applies engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria for projects ranging from small to large in scope. The role leverages technical knowledge, experience, and client relationships to assist in the execution and evaluation of project designs. Responsibilities also include field inspection of highway bridges, roadway construction, material testing, and construction‑related administrative duties. Work may occur nighttime, weekend, and in various field offices throughout the San Antonio area and surrounding counties, with occasional assignments in Austin, Houston, Dallas‑Fort Worth, El Paso, and other locations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
