You will play a key role in supporting complex operational functions for hedge fund clients through SS&C's partnership with Lighthouse Investment Partners, LLC, a $20 billion AUM asset management firm. You'll take on increased responsibility in managing trade lifecycle activities, resolving reconciliation exceptions, and ensuring the accuracy of cash, positions, and market values.In this role, you will act as a primary point of contact for clients and counterparties, building strong relationships while collaborating with internal teams to drive timely and accurate execution of operational processes. Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), Private Equity, Global Macro, Fixed Income, Mortgage, Credit, Distressed, Long/Short, Risk/Stat/Arbitrage, Emerging markets and Fund of FundsBuilding and maintaining client relationships, and serving as a liaison between clients and prime brokers/counterpartiesProviding middle and back office support for the following products: equity, fixed income, swaps, bank debt, contract for differences, futures, commodities, options, FX, mortgages and reposAddressing and researching cash / position / Market Value reconciliation exceptionsInteracting with various internal GlobeOp departments such as Fund Accounting, OTC Operations, Investor Services and ITWire processing related to management fees, incentive fees, fund subscriptions and redemptions, and collateralRunning cash reports and confirming payments with counterpartiesRequired Experience2+ years experience with Back Office Operations working for either a Prime Broker, Administrator, Hedge Fund, Mutual Fund, Investment Advisor or Financial/Retirement PlannerMiddle/Back office experience covering trade settlements, fail control, reconciliation of trade discrepancies, and client servicingWhat Sets You ApartPrior experience with various products including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, Mortgages, options and working knowledge of Corporate ActionsPrior experience with OTC productsSolid MS Excel knowledgePrior experience working in a client service environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsBA in business/finance or related disciplineSS&C Technologies offers a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your wellbeing, growth, and future. Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. New York: The expected base salary for the position is between $65,000 USD to $115,000 USD.
