Construction Quality Engineer

Job Summary Seeking a Construction Quality Engineer for a contract, fully on-site role in St. Louis to oversee QA/QC processes, manage inspections, and ensure strict compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Candidates must have 5 to 10 years of construction quality experience, a relevant engineering or construction degree, and mandatory experience working within pharmaceutical and class C cleanroom environments. In this role, you will develop quality plans, collaborate with contractors to resolve issues, perform root cause analyses, and maintain critical project documentation. Location: St. Louis, Missouri Job type: Contract Salary: $89 - 90 per hour Work hours: 8am to 4pm Education: Bachelors Responsibilities Ensure all construction processes and materials meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety codes. Have mandatory experience working within pharmaceutical and class C cleanroom environments. Create and execute quality assurance and quality control plans for construction projects. Perform regular on-site inspections and audits to monitor the work of contractors and subcontractors. Evaluate and sign off on test plans, inspection reports, and material submittals. Partner with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues and apply corrective actions. Investigate the root causes of quality failures and establish preventive measures. Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, and reports for project stakeholders. Train and guide project staff on established QA/QC processes and standards. Review and interpret engineering drawings and models to ensure compliance.
