Ship Manager

Lead the planning and execution of ship modernization projects Ensure modernization efforts are completed on schedule and within budget Provide technical guidance during the modernization process Ensure compliance with Navy standards and specifications Act as the primary point of contact between the Navy and contractors/vendors Facilitate communication among engineering teams, logistics personnel, and ship crews Monitor modernization activities for quality and safety Conduct inspections and evaluations of completed work Maintain documentation of modernization activities and ship changes Prepare project status reports for management and stakeholders Oversee cost estimates, budgets, and expenditure tracking Train ship crews on newly installed or modernized systems and equipment Provide post-modernization support and troubleshooting Requirements High School Diploma Active DoD Secret Clearance U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance 10 years of experience in engineering, naval architecture, or a related field Experience with ship systems, maintenance, and modernization Excellent project management and communication skills Knowledge of Navy standards and operational requirements Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in leading ship modernization projects, ensuring compliance with Navy standards, and providing technical guidance throughout the process.
