ENG- Support the implementation and validation of cybersecurity solutions across the platform, including vulnerability management, security configuration, testing, and remediation activities. Coordinate cyber test events, review test plans and cases, execute verification activities, and provide actionable technical feedback to support compliance with cybersecurity requirements.

#Education & Job Requirements

*Education or training typically acquired through advanced education, such as an Associate degree, and 1+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
*3+ years of related experience
*DoD 8140 IAT-Level II certification, such as Security+ or higher
*Strong working knowledge of cyber capabilities, including patch management, multi-factor authentication, host-based security, intrusion detection, security event management, active/passive system scanning, and defense-in-depth
*Strong working knowledge of Group Policy Object (GPO) management and remediation techniques for cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats
*Security engineering knowledge involving Information Assurance technologies, NIST standards, DoDI 8500.2, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls
*Hands-on experience throughout the Agile development lifecycle using the Scrum framework, including requirements identification, user story definition, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
*Test-plan and test-case review, implementation verification, test execution, and technical feedback
*Cyber audit tool configuration, cyber vulnerability assessments, and configuration activities
*Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models and testing processes
*Proficiency with cyber-tool software applications
*Leadership experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to support complex organizational relationships
*Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills for presenting technical cyber issues and reports to government stakeholders, program management, and other functional areas
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

#Job Duties & Functions

*Partner directly with the Cyber Engineering organization to embed and validate cybersecurity solutions on the platform at COS HWY-83
*Coordinate test events with the Cyber Test Facility at MIDOC
*Validate test plans submitted by cyber teams
*Brief program leadership on test-plan analysis
*Assist cyber teams in identifying specific cybersecurity requirements needed for successful test execution
*Facilitate timely delivery of cybersecurity capabilities and solutions
*Manage Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) tickets from end to end
*Handle Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO) and Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) remediation
*Integrate vendor-issued patches
*Apply and verify DISA STIG configurations
*Review test plans and test cases supplied by development teams
*Verify correct implementation of test activities and execute assigned tests
*Provide clear, actionable feedback to support compliance with cybersecurity requirements
*Maintain regular and predictable attendance
