Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – Long-Term Care Pharmacy

Location: Powell, TN

Schedule: Monday–Friday, shifts scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., plus one Saturday per month (9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.)

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience, plus additional compensation for on-call rotation

Certification Required

Applicants must hold an active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) and meet all Tennessee registration requirements. Uncertified candidates will not be considered.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, team-focused Certified Pharmacy Technician to support our long-term care operations through prescription order entry, medication fulfillment, and communication with healthcare providers and partnering communities.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare medications and healthcare products for daily fulfillment
• Communicate with providers, nursing staff, and partnering communities regarding resident prescriptions
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
• Monitor medication inventory, storage, and supply levels
• Support on-call service rotation with additional compensation provided
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with all pharmacy regulations

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required
• Must meet all Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration requirements
• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
• Long-term care pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality patient care
