We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team! As the Assistant Manager, you will assist the manager in running the restaurant’s operational performance and financial well-being. You will hire, train, and lead staff, ensuring they reflect the restaurant’s high standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a friendly, welcoming, and professional guest experience.
- Supervise, motivate , and coach team members to maintain high performance and excellent customer service.
- Hire, train, new employees on company policies, food safety standards, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels, place product orders, receive deliveries, and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
- Process cash, reconcile registers, and assist with daily financial reporting.
- Support sales promotions, and local marketing efforts to help meet revenue goals.
- Step into the store Manager role during their absence.
- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum of 1-2 years of retail, food service, or hospitality supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math and computer skills, including point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
